About The Mosque
The land for Pathal Kudwa Masjid was endowed as waqf in 1920 by the late Sufi Wali Muhammad, who dedicated half of his total property to the mosque. A smaller portion of the remaining land (approximately 47 kari) was later allocated to Ghulam Abbas for his family's sustenance.
On 23rd January 1949, Sufi Wali Muhammad transferred the residual portion of the land to his wife, the late Saliman, with the stipulation that she would retain usufruct rights during her lifetime. Upon her passing, the land was to be fully incorporated into the mosque's endowment.
We honor the enduring legacy of Sufi Wali Muhammad and Saliman, and we pray that Allah (SWT) grants them the highest abode in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Ameen.
